Hello, dear Reader,

     The goal of this blog, titled “About Knowledge,” is to provide more information about my books (in a series of three books) centered around a human quality destined to change society. This quality is the human knowledge—the individual and cumulative of mankind. The books present the pivotal role of knowledge in the personal development of any individual and the progress of humanity.
The first book titled “More Info on Information: From Information to Artificial Intelligence” was published as a Kindle ebook on Amazon.com in 2021.
The second book (in progress) presents some new concepts about knowledge and its efficient transfer based on current and future social needs and the trends in information technology, including artificial intelligence (AI).
The third book (also in progress) is dedicated to the “bigger picture”—how science, technology, society, and their interrelations form a complex system propelling the progress of humanity.

The blog is structured in seven sections. They focus on the following topics:

The purpose of this blog (and the books it presents) is conceptual. Its major goal is to point out new scientific and technological research directions that can bring new concepts and developments for improving digital knowledge transfer (DKT). It provides summarised information on my study and research on these topics as a 25+ years university lecturer in information technology (IT). I published it in numerous papers presented at various international conferences and in my first book published in 2021.

Sections 1 to 6 contain selected chapters of Book 1 that can be downloaded as PDFs for free. The completed Book 1 can be downloaded as a Kindle ebook from Amazon.com.

Why knowledge is at the center of this blog?
Further in the text, I will try to prove that the knowledge we build for ourselves and possess is the most important thing in our lives. I know some people think money is the most important thing in life. But knowledge guides us, controls us, and helps in all our everyday and professional activities. Even such as making money. In a knowledge-based economy knowledge is the main source of wealth and prosperity. The world economy is fast moving to the next level of the Industrial Revolution - the Cognitive Revolution. In the coming “Cognitive Age” (soon, probably, the “Information Age” will be renamed to “Cognitive Age”), everybody will need the next level of knowledge – the human-artificial intelligence generated knowledge in collaboration. I explain my view about it throughout the sections of this blog and in more detail in my second book.
When we lack knowledge of anything, usually we fail. And who wants to fail (in life)?
In this blog and the second book in the series, I will present to you some innovative concepts and approaches to “how to” build knowledge more efficiently using advanced information technologies. I will focus on the digital transformation of knowledge transfer assisted by AI-powered personal learning assistants, etc. innovative “intelligent” (AI) technologies.

The topics about knowledge and related technologies are wide in scope. The topics presented in the blog subsections listed above are in brief format. More detailed information on these can be found in Book 1. Extended information on these you will find in the next books (Books 2 and 3) in the series.
So, if you are ready for a journey to extend your knowledge horizon and gain more knowledge on knowledge, you’ll find some of the “gears” you may need here in this blog.
